Bea Galán started her piano studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música y Danza de las Islas Baleares, where she graduated with the Chamber Music Honor Award. In 2013, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Piano at Musikene, the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country, with a specialization in contemporary music. Later, in 2021, she earned her Master’s degree in Classical Piano Performance at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen (The Netherlands), graduating Cum Laude.
Throughout her career, she has received several awards, among them the I International Piano Competition “Vila de Capdepera” (2001), the VII International Piano Competition “Ciutat de Mallorca” (2003), the London International Music Competition (2022), and the Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours (2025), where she accompanied flutist Roser Beltrán. She has performed in numerous Spanish cities (Mallorca, Cieza, San Javier, Zaragoza, Almería, San Sebastián, Bilbao, Madrid, Valencia), as well as in London, France, the Netherlands, and Germany. She has also attended masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Andrzej Jasinski, Leonid Sintsev, David Kuyken, and Marta Zabaleta.
Her artistic research focuses on the fusion between classical repertoire and the influences of jazz and other styles, aiming to disseminate this lesser-known repertoire and build bridges between jazz and classical audiences. Her most recent project, Dancing With The Classics, invites the public to dance and experience music through movement.
She currently lives in Groningen (The Netherlands), where she combines piano pedagogy, her work as an accompanist, and her concert activity with the promotion of classical-jazz repertoire both as a soloist and with her band Classics Meet Jazz. She also offers her international workshops Dance Your Repertoire, an innovative program that invites musicians to explore their repertoire through conscious movement and dance. Based on somatic practices and body–mind connection, it translates musical phrases into physical gestures, expanding interpretative understanding and fostering a more authentic, free, and deeply connected performance. In addition, she supports musicians in their artistic and personal growth through InHarmony, Holistic Life for Musicians.
