Dancing With The Classics is a transgressive and dynamic experience that goes beyond the conventionalisms of the classical concert bridging the gap between the audience and the artists, thus involving them in the performance along with the musicians and dancers.

Taking a look at the History of Music, concerts of instrumental and vocal music were frequently given at the homes of the nobility in the 17th century. A reunion where the audience was expected to remain quiet for the duration of each work or applaud at the end of the concert, a procedure that nowadays remains. Music has for too long been restricted to a single!

I have always wondered why we listened to music so seriously and statically. Frequently, while attending a concert of classical music, I have been surprised smiling shaken by the beautiful harmonies of a symphony, or seeing how the person next to me gets the rhythm in his foot. It seems that if we move too much, someone will judge us, but there I start to imagine how beautiful and liberating it would be to let ourselves be carried away by music.

Experience it from our bodies rather than just our ears. Allow us to feel and express what the music is conveying while sharing it with those around us.

DWTC is not just another “listen to” living. It is a lifestyle change. It is a real contribution to all of us who are drowning in stressful daily routines and want to liberate tensions and worries. It is a new way for the listener to express their emotions during the concert through movement which is the catalyst and vessel for communication, trust, and relationship.

These concerts are an innovative experience, totally enriching, and also therapeutic for society. The band invites the audience, through this classical repertoire with Jazz, Latin, or funky influences to create a symbolic relationship between body, mind, and spirit.
