Since the age of seven, my life has been intertwined with the piano. I trained as a classical pianist between conservatories in Spain and the Netherlands, graduating from the Professional Conservatory of the Balearic Islands with an Honor Award in Chamber Music, specializing in contemporary music at Musikene, the High School of Music of the Basque Country, and earning a Master’s degree Cum Laude in Classical Piano Performance at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen.
Over the years, I have performed piano and chamber music recitals in Spain, France, Germany, and the Netherlands, and I have had the privilege of receiving masterclasses from renowned pianists such as Roberto Bravo, Marta Zabaleta, Andrzej Jasinski, Leonid Sintsev, and David Kuyken, among others. I have been awarded in several competitions, including “Vila de Capdepera” (2001), “Ciutat de Mallorca” (2003), the London International Music Competition (2022), and the Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours in Amsterdam (2025), where I won first prize together with flutist Roser Beltrán.
Although my career has developed within the field of classical music, I grew up surrounded by other sounds: at home, there were always jazz, rhythm & blues, soul, and funk records playing. I loved to dance and move with those rhythms, feeling the freedom of the body and the joy of movement.
During my master’s studies, I began researching the influence of jazz and other styles such as Latin and funk on the classical piano repertoire. I felt the need to explore that meeting point between genres and to understand the rhythmic essence that connects them. That is how Classics Meet Jazz was born — a band created with jazz musicians, where we reinterpret classical works by adding electric bass and drums. This rhythmic foundation allowed us to discover new soundscapes and merge seemingly opposite languages, giving voice to a more spontaneous and fresh form of expression.
This search for a deeper connection between body and sound opened new paths within me. Almost intuitively, I started to dance my own classical repertoire, discovering how movement helped me release tension and reconnect with the authenticity of musical expression. From that personal experience, Dance Your Repertoire was born — a project that unites body, mind, soul, and heart in performance. What began as an intimate healing process evolved into a method and philosophy to help other musicians find freedom, presence, and emotional connection on stage.
Some time later, this same philosophy of merging music and movement gave birth to a new stage format: Dancing with the Classics, the second project of Classics Meet Jazz. It emerged as a natural continuation of my work with students and from the desire to offer audiences a new kind of experience — one where music is lived actively, freely, and collectively. A space where the audience can feel, move, or even dance, becoming an essential part of the performance itself. Premiered with the support of Kunstraad and Voordekunst, the project toured across the province of Groningen, bringing together musicians, dancers, and audiences on stage.
Over time, this holistic approach to performance expanded further, giving rise to InHarmony – Holistic Life for Musicians, a space dedicated to the integral well-being of musicians. Through InHarmony, I accompany individual processes that embrace the four bodies — physical, mental, emotional, and energetic — to cultivate balance, self-awareness, and wholeness both on and off the stage.
After several years teaching Dance Your Repertoire at the Prins Claus Conservatorium, I am now focused on offering workshops in conservatories and festivals, as well as individual coaching sessions through InHarmony, supporting musicians and artists in their personal and artistic growth.
All of this nurtures my purpose: to guide musicians in rediscovering the joy of playing, releasing tension and fear, and reconnecting with music from an authentic, free, and profoundly human place.
